MAPS Canada is building a community of practice to bring together professionals interested in advancing access to psychedelics through Health Canada’s Special Access Program (SAP).
We welcome:
- Prescribers who are interested in learning more or have questions about accessing psychedelics through the SAP
- Prescribers who have previously submitted applications to the SAP (both successfully and unsuccessfully) and want to share lessons learned
- Suppliers interested in providing medicines through the SAP
- Policy and regulatory experts who want to bring their knowledge of contextual factors to the process
We hope that the community will be:
- A vibrant place to discuss what works and what doesn’t in applying to the SAP, and to ask questions about related topics (e.g., patient education)
- A place to identify gaps in knowledge and practice, and to co-create resources to address them
- A one-stop “shop” for resources and expertise.
If you are interested in discussing the SAP with others who are interested, please join our community of practice by filling out our Registration Survey and click here for the Terms of Reference.
